A magic dragon is crouching in the place where the 800 mile Oujiang is flowing into the sea.This dragon is Longwan Wenzhou. Longwan be located in the middle of the golden coastline of China, Longwan is one of the major three districts of Wenzhou city as the front line of Wenzhou's open and reform.

In 1984, Longwan District was established. It is one of the three urban areas in Wenzhou city.It covers a land area of 279 square kilometers, and now governs 5 residential districts including Yongzhong, Puzhou, Haibing, Yongxing and Haicheng, 5 towns including Zhuangyuan, Yaoxi, Shacheng, Tianhe and Lingkun. There are 9 residential community committees, and 147 administrative villages, with a population of 300 thousand.
